Cathy Shapiro
Cathy grew up in a musical family and has always been passionate about
making music and the joy and soul fulfillment it can bring. For Cathy,
nothing can compare to singing, while being surrounded by beautiful
vocalists harmonizing. She has sung on many professional recordings,
and performed with various singers/songwriters. Cathy once found
herself performing on stage with Ken Kesey, and on another occasion
doing harmonies with Billy Bob Thornton with Tommy Shaw on guitar.
Having the musical confidence to jump into these wonderful
music situations and enjoy a jam session at a bonfire or grab a drum
at a drum circle, is what Cathy is so excited about sharing and
facilitating as a Music Together teacher. Aside from music, Cathy's
other love is children. She was a beloved preschool teacher for four
years and is now enjoying the best job of her life -- being a mom! |
